I read the thread about getting a bird(parakeet) high, and was surprised that nobody covered consumption of the weed. I have a cockatiel that is really friendly and though he does not like smoke blown in his face, he LOVES to munch on some shake or stems. The only problem is trying to figure out when he's high. How much should I give him? ![]()

id say blowing a couple shotguns in the birds direction is more than enough... not that i agree with getting your pet bird high.. maybe we should ask big bird how much it takes to get high

Well, I find the bird eating it better that forcing him to breath a fat rip of smoke(though I might blow a puff or two in his direction). He eats pot at his own pace, and I never let him eat more than just a little shake sitting on the tray. I'm no bird expert, but I'd say he likes the high, or the taste, both of which are delightful.
