| Mental addiction, yes. Middle aged and still seeking it out, even after long dry spells. When you think about growing it with chance of discovery, or risking job (not stoned on job, just working for total teetotaller who would freak), that's a commitment that can only be considered in terms of addictive behavior. Physical, no. No withdrawal, mental fog clears up. Are addictions all bad? A question for the ages. The insight of altered states of consciousness, the casting aside of daily cares for a bit, the increased intimacy of making love under a magic spell, these are plusses. Just call me 'budspotter'. |

| Why is there a fast food poll instead of an are you addicted poll?

| I'd say yes, and I'd also say no, depending on my mental state. Obviously, your brain has power over this kind of addiction. If you smoke yourself retarded everyday it's going to be hard to quit; sobriety is awkward and scary sometimes when you go day to day high as hell. This has happened to me before, and I didn't like it, and I changed my smoking habits. I now smoke a little each day, to take the edge off and put the ease on. Haven't smoked in 3 or 4 days and I'm not feeling a hankering for some weed, I don't have an insatiable urge to get high, I'm just waiting till my boy gets the new shtuff. Your mind has power over your body in this case, if you keep a healthy mental state while using, you can overcome any sort of psychological addiction. Atleast that's what I've found, I could (of course) be wrong. |

| I believe that I am not addicted, but I suppose that if I was in a laboratory, I'd meet all of the definitions. There's a good chance that today will be the first day I don't smoke in 2008. I don't feel happy or sad about it one way or the other....but then again, I did realize it....

| IMO smoking marijuana is habit forming, but not addictive. There is a big difference. Sure, you can smoke habitually but you will never feel any adverse effects if you stop. It's not a big deal when I don't get high one day, in fact I took a 3 day break this week, but when it's there; I'm going to smoke it. I also won't sacrifice my financial stability to get high. There are cheaper ways to have fun and sometimes better ways to have fun ![]()

| I wouldn't say I'm addicted, I smoke a lot during the weekends usually pretty blitzed Friday to Sunday morning til I come home. I don't usually smoke at my house because it's a little hard to sneak out and my dad use to be a cop so he can pretty easily tell when I am messed up since he knows what to look for. | I hate Fuddruckers. Their hamburgers are way too expensive and aren't that good for the price you pay. |
