I understand if you don't want to be part of this thread, but on another forum I frequent a thread like this turned out to be truly epic. So I figured I'd try to do the same here.


How do you wipe? Standing up or sitting down?

Also, toilet paper? The hard bulk-roll or soft cottony stuff. How much? 2 ply or a whole handful.


Is this a grotesque thread? Yes. But if you can take the thread, humor almost always results.

I wipe sitting down. I use whatever paper, I'm not picky, unless its the real thin shit...

and I fold my paper by the creases, I don't ball it up .

My toilet paper is pretty cheap, but it's better than the stuff at public schools....one day we'll have enough money for 2-ply

I wipe sitting down using the soft cottony stuff (provided I'm at home). I use 4 or 5 squares per wipe and I'm most definitely a folder.

In some parts of this world, you just squat and then use your hand minus the paper.

As for the toilet paper, I tend to get the better wipe with the soft tissue. The bulk shit works, but I don't feel it's particularly well suited to drier shits where you'll end up getting a much rougher, less satisfying wipe. Having said that, a lot of those bulk papers are recycled, so in addition to a clean ass, you get an environmental bonus. Gotta love that.

Where's all the "stand-up" people? I guess I'll be the first to represent. I feel that by standing up I am able to successfully wipe. Sitting down you are more prone to missing some areas and then resorting to wet-naps when you're done...

Btw, wet-naps....have been my lifesaver on occasion.

I just took a dump actually.

I wipe quasi-standing up. I'm with glorious, you can't get a full swipe if your just sitting down. That and I like stretching after such a strenuous workout.

As for what I wipe with ; usually pelts of small furry critters I capture in my backyard, rabbit, squirrel usually suffice.

Sitting down preferably the rough toilet paper-soft toilet paper hybrid. Rough toilet paper is too abrasive, and soft toilet paper doesn't feel like it's actually working. The type of toilet paper I'm talkin' about is right in that happy middle. I ball it up, taking as many as 6 ply's per wipe.
