| My dreams range from very memorable to disappearing the second I wake up. One thing weird about my dreams is that I dream of the same locations, that I've never been to, in multiple dreams. The dreams themselves are not repitious, but the locations seem to repeat themselves often. Whats even weirder is when I actually find the polaces in real life!! Talk about deja vu!!!

| I usually remember parts of my dream, just a few things, but by the time I'm sucking down a cup of coffee and a cigarette, I've forgotten. Weed definitely helps you forget your dreams. The only vivid dreams I remember since I've become a smoker is when I was trying to quit cigarettes and used a nicotine patch. Those things are INSANE

| I am a huge fan of dreams. As sad as it may sound, dreaming is an enormous part of my life. I don't dream as much when I smoke pot but I still get at least one I remember part of every night. If anyone is interested, there are a lot of ways to start remembering more of your dreams every night. Keeping a dream journal, for instance. Every time you wake up, you lay there, preferably with eyes closed as visuals will make it easier to lose your dream, and try to remember as much as possible. Write important bits and notes in a notepad, and then later when you wake up for the day, expand on them if you wish. If you remember the important parts, most other parts come to mind easier. I used a dream journal for a little bit, and it really did help a lot for the little time I used it. It helped me learn a lot of practices such as laying still with eyes closed, only thinking about your dreams to remember them easier, or even going as far as learning lucid and dream control techniques. Dreaming is really one amazing thing that is overlooked by many people. It's like a trip every night and most people don't think about it longer than a minute ![]()

I used to keep a dream log like Dark, but I became too lazy and lost interest. Most of the time now I forget my dreams since I usually smoke an hour or so before I go to sleep. I do still dream, I just can't remember them exactly. It helps me to remember dreams by emotions or colors conveyed in the dream, each dream has a feeling and if you can pinpoint that feeling you can usually remember a lot of the dream.

| There was an old psychic by the name of Edgar Cayce who did some really interesting work on dreams. I read a book about dreams written by one of his students. This book talked about dream journaling and trying to interpret dreams as messages from your higher self to help you improve your life. One really interesting point was that, in Cayce's opinion, other people in your dreams, even if they are people you know, are usually mere representations of specific aspects of yourself. This made sense to me when I had a dream where some random girl from class years ago showed up in my dream. I never even talked to this girl in waking life, but I remember her as being kinda uptight, perfectionist, always following the rules. In my dream she got killed, and I couldn't figure out why this girl would even be in my dream, let alone die. Then I realized that was the free spirited part of my subconscious trying to kill the part of me that's still inhibited and high-strung. Wow, dreams are really cool when I think about it. Too bad weed covers a lot of them up. |

| Usually I have dreams and can't remember them. Recently I've had a few that I can recall. One of which was very brief; I saw myself walk down an indiscriminate hallway to a door which I somehow knew was my mother's bedroom. I proceeded to open the door to find my mother sleeping. I looked down and saw a hundred green snakes writhing on the ground and up my legs. I woke up. In another, I'm running through a castle sometime in the middle ages being chased by a black knight with a mace on a horse. I run across the drawbridge and fall into the moat and wake up with the "falling dream" sensation. I love dreams. They're really cool. I hope I have one tonight.

I was playing NES at a friend's house when all of the sudden a bunch of snakes came out of his pool and starting invading the house. We ran up stairs and locked ourselfves in a room. We were getting hungry so my friends mom suggested that we slam the door on a snake to kill it and eat it. She tried this, and when she slammed the snake in the door, it turn into a white Air Head (that candy stuff). I then proceeded to eat it. That is an odd dream, but it is one of the few i remember.

| I used to smoke pretty much every day but quit a few months ago. I've had really vivid dreams most of my life and they weren't at all affected by smoking with the exception of maybe content. I love sleeping. It's probably one of my favorite things to do - mostly because the messed up shit that goes on in my dreams is way better than movies. I got to watch my super-conservative sister sever the head off a stray cat to use it's eyeballs for ice fishing bait the other night. Totally whacked out stuff like that always happens. I wake up and just laugh my ass off sometimes. I have a question, though. The reason I came across this website in the 1st place was I was wondering why some people don't remember dreaming when they wake up. My boyfriend has to take Nyquil in order to have a dream he remembers having the next day. Does he not dream or does he just not remember? Last edited by ghtay420 : 04-23-2008 at 05:30 AM. | I remember sometimes, other times I don't. I had a dream last month that my dealer got into my car and I left the car to find my friend to get their money, and he ended up stealing my car. Not sure what that dream meant but it was a little freaky. ![]() |

| Two nights ago I had a dream that the DEA or some similar terrorist squad was about to raid my house, but I managed to teleport outside, with a bag full of pipes and bong and so forth. I was makng my way away from the scene calmly, until I was predictably stopped by the young, eager-to-make-his-first-arrest cop with big black glasses and army cut. I didnt bother discussing with him, so I make a run for it, B! I make a right turn into this weird forest with insanely tall trees and a single pathway that is somehow blocked by a long row of tables. I manage to sneak under the tables and he cant follow me, but he's calling for something on his walkie-talkie, so my next move is to make a barrel roll down a hillside to my left, ending up in an insanely large tennis court. |
