Last night, was crazy waffles! I had a dream that I was in a backyard with a big group of friends. All of a sudden, we all looked up, and there was this space ship the size of like Rhode island or something. And it crashed like a mile from us. Then, we saw like a ambulance space ship come after that. Then, it ends up I have powers and I was about to use them till my alarm woke me up.

I learned this in pyschology and I've found from personal experience that it's true. If you tell yourself right before you fall to sleep, you have to do it when you're tired, if you're wide awake and have other thoughts afterwards it doesn't work, but if you say to yourself "I'm going to remember my dream" you generally do. If you tell your brain that right before it shuts off to sleep you will wake up remembering it 99 percent of the time. The only time it's failed is if I think it too early and my brain gets flooded with a ton of other thoughts afterwards. It may sound whacky but it worked for me and everyone in my pysch class in high school. We had to do a dream journal and she said to try that if you never remember dreams as the truth is you dream nearly every night, just your brain doesn't know to remember it.

Well there is a couple of possibilites...
He COULD be suffering from some type of sleeping disorder preventing him from entering REM sleep. Is he really groggy when he wakes up even if he got a full nights rest? If that's the case this may be the answer...
Most of the time though, it's just how the person goes about trying to remember their dreams. Believe it or not with practice you can remember a lot more per night simply by getting used to remembering them every night. He may just not be putting enough thought into it.

That's extremely odd cuz I would say in my case it's the opposite. When I'm sober I sometimes remember parts of my dream but when I'm baked out of my skull and go to sleep my dreams are awesome and I can remember most in great detail.

Yep, most say they remember em when they're stoned. I can't either. Sober, or any other drug my dreams are pretty vivid but stoned I either don't think enough about them to remember them or they are just that much harder to remember.

I dream like crazy. And they say when you smoke you hardly remember your dreams. I remember mine. They are very vivid and crazy. Almost like mini movies. I've even had the Old Hag come see me a few times and that is real creepy. I dream heavy in between my alarm clock going off.

I have been lately. Last night, I watched Doctor Who, and the episode had this lifeform called "swarms" that literally ate you down to the bone! Well, I had a dream about it last night. It didn't get me, but was other things.

I dreamed that my hair had big luscious curls in it last night...I did braid my hair before bed so that it could be wavy today though, so that might have had something to do with it.

Sometimes I have crazy dreams while I smoke, but I have more dreams when I'm sober. Sometimes they're so long, I can only remember fragments of conversation and what locations looked like, in a fairly vivid fashion. Unless I write them down right away, then I won't remember them fully stoned or sober.
