Lewis Black's new show. This coming up Wednesday is Beer Vs. Alcohol. Which one will be the root of all evil?

My vote will be of course... Beer. For me.. I decided to stop drinking because... Well, I drink to the point where I black out and wake up with vomit on me and I hear these embarrassing ass stories of what I did that night.

With pot on the other hand, is such a lovely, lovely lovely plant. And smells good, and burns good and makes me feel good, and makes me enjoy everything just a little bit more.

Beer ruins lives all the time. Pot can I guess, but not nearly as much. Beer tends to make people more violent also, while pot makes them calm.

I would assume everyone's answer in here will be beer. We probably are a little biased though .

But even if you look at it from an unbiased perspective it would be hard to say weed can get you in more trouble than alcohol. I'm kinda of in the same boat as you Freedom. I wouldn't say I quit drinking, but I have definitely cut down because I have done so many things I regret while under the influence of alcohol. Weed, on the other hand, simply helps me relax and veg. out .

Dude. I got so shit face drunk one time. My friends duck taped me to a wall. And wrote cum whole and stuff like that and put it all over my myspace. The good thing with that was, people like Jimmy Hendrix died from drowning while throwing up. Atleast gravity would pull it down. So who knows... Maybe they was just helping me...

I decided on that day, I would still have parties over at my house. Instead of drinking, I would much rather get stoned and laugh at all the drunks. It's a much better show.

Beer breaks up families and causes violence. Weed causes paranoia and munchies. Easy choice.

This is a pretty bias place to ask this question though.

I thought this show looked really stupid, but after seeing this weeks previews i might give it a watch.

Thats awesome that nobody has voted for weed being the evil yet. and shows that it makes no sense that alcohol is legal while pot is completely illegal and demonized.....
one makes you black out, slur your speech horribly, not be able to see straight or walk straight or stand straight. It makes you forget everything that happened and vomit and get in rages where you do horrible violence/even kill people. It screws up your drivin so bad that you weave across highways and kill people. It gets you severly addicted and completley ruins your life
The other makes it so you wouldnt hurt a fly, makes you hungry, makes you horny and makes you able to do usual boring tasks with uncanny skill and interest.

Doesnt make sense to me....

anyone that is flat out saying BEER causes this or beer leads to this should re word what they are saying don't you all hate it when people make those same assumptions about pot that pot will ruin your life blah blah blah. Ultimately I believe it is up to the user what kind of evil if any it can do. but i guess i would pick BEER as the greater of two evils because alcohol is physically addictive and the withdrawl can kill you. but personally I believe both are very good and are gifts from GOD
