I just wanted to know how much everyone spends on pot and papers/bowls/screens/cleaning solution etc a year because most of the people I smoke with seem to buy at least a gram every week or twice a week or more!! That really adds up: @ $20 a gram for the real good shit in my area once a week would be $1040 for less than 2 oz a year!! And twice a week would be $2080 for less than 3.75 oz a year!! And that isn't including papers and everything else.

Personally, I buy a fat 1/2 oz 3 or 4 times a year for a total of $600 or $800 and 1.5oz or 2oz. And I don't ever buy screens/papers just a new pipe maybe once a year which adds on about another $30. So either total of $630 or $830 but I voted for the 500-750 range because I probably end up buying 7 times in 2 years which would be 3.5 times in one year which would be $700 in pot plus the $30 for a total of $730.


Not bad. Moral of the story is: you buy in bulk you save!!

I thought there was thread similar to this already, but I couldn't find it. I'd need to think about it a little, but besides marijuana, I don't have a lot of expense on other stuff. Screens for my vaporizer (which I clean and re-use), alcohol, pipe cleaners, glass flowers occasionally, and that's about it. I also buy in bulk.

yeah i thought there would be as well. Believe me- I searched for like 20 min under cost and year and money and expense etc etc to try and find one without any success (in a reallllllyyyyyyy boring class rt now)

I really cant say. Last year i probably spent about 1k-2k but that is just a guess it might be more.

off the top of my head i would say around 3,000 a year if not more.. thats not including my friends who also by lots of weed... as of right now im not spending any money on weed cause im on fucking probation.

When I read in the forums about people who smoke an ounce a week, I always wonder, first of all, how anyone could (or why they'd want to) smoke that much. Their lungs must look like the inside of a coal mine! The second thing I wonder is, "How do they come up with that much money?"

I typically spend $500 a year on a QP of mids, making an ounce cost $125. If I used an ounce a week, my yearly expenditure would be $6,500! If it were KB, 52 ounces at $300 would be $15,600

shit i smoke all i can get. lately about a quad a week to answers buzzbys stupid ass question. (haha naw just playin homie) there probably just sellin some bud. if you buy a ounce and sell half the other half is yours to smoke. push 2 ounces in a week and you got yourself a free zip and some spendin money. thats wrong tho i dont endorse doing that... haha
