| I was just wondering if I can use my 19inch LCD HDTV as my computer monitor because I am unemployed currently and dont have any money for a new monitor. And the TV has an input for a computer but im not sure if it would be good to use for a long time because I dont know when Ill be getting a job or when ill have the money to buy a new desktop. And I'm assuming that I would have to turn it on and off manually because it will not turn off when i shutdown the computer correct? Also would the sound still play through the TV if it was just hooked up to my PC? Or would i have to hook up speakers, or would I have no sound at all? I have another desktop but it's one of those big ass ones that weigh like 80 lbs and it distorts the bottom, top, and sides of the screen so thats why I dont want to use it. Plus the fact that it takes up too much space. And would using my HDTV use too much power/electricity or willl it overheat if im using it for a while? Because i've noticed that when im playing games on it or watching tv for many hours (like maybe 8+ hours) it gets really warm. Thanks, Crim |
