|  Which ipod to buy? I'm trying to get a ipod for my sister. I am constantly asked for a nice one... When i search online, i found this deal - Apple iPod Nano 3gen 4GB MP3, it really looks great according to the customer comments, but the price... So is it worth every penny? |

| If she likes music and has alot of it get a Classic 30/60/120GB Ipod for her. Ipod touch and all that isn't worth it right now

| Ipod Touch!! I have it and its awesome you can do so much with it and now they updated them to make them even better thats what I would get. You can download games go online and alot more. |

| I have an ipod touch and I love it. I never ever thought I'd like it (it was given to me from my employer).. but it's actually pretty awesome. It's so easy to find certain tracks/albums/artists. I've had a lot of other mp3 players and it's definitely the best. If you're concerned about the price, a standard ipod/mp3 player (the nano is nice too) will do fine.

| Sheesh, you people and the Touch...the OP is squeamish about the price of a previous generation refurbished Nano and you're recommending something almost three times more expensive? That's almost like a person is looking at a Ford but should buy a Mercedes. At this price range, the alternatives are the Creative Zen and the Sandisk Sansa for a comparable price or lower. I've had more experience with the Zen players and they're pretty solid. I don't necessarily recommend getting something that's been refurbished unless you're really comfortable with the retailer. 4GB Creative Zen Also, if you don't mind something used and/or set on something from Apple, the Great iPod Exchange is something to look at. |
