Mac has way more practical features, is very nicer looking, and youl basically never have to worry about viruses again, and Mac is way more epensive then pc

Pc however, is compatible with way more programs, and (generally) only big programs will be relased with Mac osx ports..Mac however is getting more attention recently, Pc will allow you to change and upgrade hardware more easily though..and more support for games.

hope that informed some people of some stuff(Y)

this is all common knowledge.

AND, with the release of windows 7, some may argue that it looks better & has more practical features than osx.
AND the only reason macs rarley get viruses is because nobody targets them. they're not popular enough. i believe their market share is only like 3-4%.

Exactly. Not worth the trouble. Doesn't keep Apple from advertising that they're 'virus proof' though.

Macs are great, but they're more expensive and you need to consider how you're going to use a computer, and whether Apple's pluses are meaningful for your needs.

I think it was funny how Apple cried to Windows to take the commercials off air that were getting people to buy Windows instead of Mac (you know the one of people finding a cheaper PC)

Why does everybody say 'Mac or PC'?

Ever heard of Linux?

Linux
Ubuntu

Linux is free, virus-free & compatible with almost all Mac and Widows applications (Thanks to projects like WINE).

IMO I think Linux should be the choice for most people, because its open-source, its VERY secure with it almost being impossible to write a virus for Linux (even if you did it, it would only affect some distros of Linux).

Furthermore, it runs on both Macs and PCs, as well as other things like playstations, moile phones, watches and even microwaves
