I've seen a lot of posts about this in different forums. I barely got comcast last month and I've been downloading gigz of video. I'm probably dl'ing over 100 gigz a month. Does anyone here have have comcast and did you receive any warning letters for dl'ing too much?

No thats why comcast charges so much becuase you have unlimited amounts of download.

Its uplaoding that they worry about. If your not running a server then they dont care.

I dont know about that I have three servers running out of my house the recently did an upgrade in our area so the upload is a bunch more almost 1mb/sec

The main reason they get after your case is because the ppl who got the letter where hogging bandwidth, remember that on cable everyone in your neihborhood shares the same overall bandwidth.

You probably live in a place where there's a few comcast cable customers. In my neighbor hood my cousin is the only I know that has comcast cable. I should have gotten the comcast letter months ago since my computer is on 24/7 always downloading. It's amazing how fast a 250 gig hardrive fills up when your comp is on 24/7.
