I didn't realize that there was an all encompassing philosophy behind 1337. Sorry if my thread was counterintuitive.

1337 basically stands for " l e e t " or elite as in experienced.

XOR (Exclusive OR) is a logic gate that implements the "odd function"

It normally has 2 inputs, and if one (and only one) of those is 1 (instead of 0)
then the output is 1. Otherwise, it is 0.

1337Z0R is for making fun of people who think they're the master of the
megachips and that they can "crack your codes" and stuff. I think it's fun to
find ways to make those people say "imadoofus" in a sentence.

I believe someone that talks like that is called a "lamer". I think that was the word for it back in the day.
