| Computer 1 ASUS A7V8X-X Athlon XP 2400+ 1 gig pc2100 ddr ram 120gb 7200rpm HDD w/ 8mb cache Radeon 9800 pro 128mb ddr O/C'ed to 405mhz core 350mhz ram w/ arctic cooling vga silencer Liteon 48x/40x cd/dvdrom Liteon 52x32x52x CD-RW onboard sound, onboard lan all in a nice antec case, with a side and top mounted fans, all antec fans replaced with sunon 39 cfm fans for a total of 8 chassis mounted fans, including 2 in the power supply. it is a loud PC. Computer 2 epox k7s5a athlon xp1600+ 1 gig pc2100 ddr ram 30gb 7200rpm HDD with 2mb cache Radeon 9000 64mb ddr Liteon 48x/40x cd/dvdrom Liteon 52x32x52x CD-RW onboard sound and lan all in a nice, but not as nice as the other comp's case, with a side and top mounted fan, 2 in the power supply and 8 more mounted on the case's already included fan socket-thingies. all the fans are generic antec case fans. this comp is loud but not like the other one. as you can see they are pretty similiar, except one is much better than the other. and i am sure the 9800 pro can go a little higher but i havent bothered to try. i was also going to get a faster CPU on comp#1 and faster ram but didnt to save money, and buying 4 512mb sticks of the pc2100 got me a nice discount where i bought it at, and i wanted to upgrade comp#2 and it maxes out with pc2100. cheap ass mobo my next comp is going to be "the beast" i am basically going to spend whatever it takes to build a comp using the fastest and most O/C'able parts on the market. and it will be water cooled, because i am tired of these loud ass fans
