Can't View Source

I can go to a page and do everything normally, but if I feel like taking a gander at the html behind it and do view-source, it doesn't come up. Any ideas why?

Granted, you didn't quite say "The thingy button doesn't work!"

but you didn't say whether you were trying to right-click, if you were using
Internet Exploder or Mozilla or NutScrape or Opera or whichever...

Geeks need details too!

Yeah your post is very vague, however it sounds like you might be trying to right click the page and then click view source, but a error comes up. If that is what you are talking about then go to view --> page source, or however it is worded on your browser of choice. If this isn't what your problem is then you need to restate it with more details.

I'm using IE. I go to View, then Source, without right clicking. I don't get an error message, it just does nothing. Nothing comes up, and I sit and wait like an idiot. This didn't used to happen a while ago, but I hadn't tried it in a while and now it doesn't work.

Sounds like a bug, is IE updated?

Internal text handler got set to null.

Save an HTML file to your hard drive and right click it. There should be an
edit option. If not, it's borked.

edit: what page are you trying to view the source of?

Very simple solution to this.

Delete everything in your Temporary Internet Files folder.

There is, but when I go to it it just brings up the page in a word document. When I go down in the menu to Textpad as an option near edit and such, it opens Textpad and I can see all the HTML as normal. I've never tried it before, so if I urgently need to see something, that's fine, but it still doesn't come up if I try it in IE.
