|  Cable Modem Question I got cable finally. Here in S. New Mexico we are a little farther behind i know. i just got a question, if i turn on my computer and it comes to teh password screen, and i leave my computer on, is it still an open portal, as if ii put in the log in infor, and is it still subject to attacks? i have virus protection, and i have a firewall, but im just curious if my computer can be seen over the net?. not the password for a screensaver, but when you turn it on and it comes up. thanks, |
