Bess Servers are dumb

In my highschool, we have this server called "Bess" with a ****ing piece of **** yellow Lab dog as the mascot.

The server blocks Porography, Free Web Pages, Tatseless/Grossness, Nudity, Weapons, Games, Emails, Forums, drugs etc.

I am currently posting this thread which is on MARIJUANA.com and it is not blocked while www.gamingforums.com is banned for GAMES and www.alldeaf.com a forum for deaf people to disscuss is banned for PORNOGRAPHY.

What the ****? What if you want to look up for breast cancer, It will be banned for pornography. I think the high school policys are sometimes retarded.

Do some of your schools have Bess or similar servers like this?

Similar, yeah. Yesterday I was working on a history project and when I got "distracted" I was trying to play games online but most of the sites were blocked

yeah we got that **** too its really hurtin i just dont use school computers anymore they are pretty useless...

heh, go to sun.stufftoread.com then in the URL bar on that page u can go anywhere and won't get blocked

this is what i do at school to get around the firewall, theres other ways but that is easiset.

Lol oh my god my school has that same filter program thing. Bess. Games and "harmless" stuff is blocked.... but you can get to the 420 lounge w/ no problem.

Must be considered educational since it talks about medical marijuana and thoughts on legalization.

Horrible troll we have the same thing at our school too. Bess sucks soo bad. You cant do anything because it will block the page for "porn". Yeah it sucked because we did all our work on laptops, which already sucked, but then we couldnt look up pages.

Saying to use a proxy wont allways work, because at school for me google.com will work through the proxy, but flashplayer.com still gets blocked. I use a web based porxy, webwarper.net works for me, but the ads suck.
