|  Task Manager has been disabled. Hi i got a virus a while ago and it was terrible. Luckily my protection is awesome and owned them!! But, the virus guy disabled my Task Mananger (im sure you know what it is but press ctr+alt+delete) and it says its disabled help me!! Please and thanks.  |

| No, the virus guy didn't disable the task manager. And you don't need to reformat. It's likely some kind of other malicious software. Do a full scan using bothSpyBot Search & Destroy and LavaSoft's AdAware. As far as I'm concerned, those are the only two adware detection/removal packages out there.

| hmmm yea ill scan my computer tonight. Also i still have lurking virus's for a month or two now, they dont really hurt (probaly are hurting but i can still do what i want) the virus scan i using is EZAnti virus purchased at local best buy and spysweeper which needs to be rescribed again. Do you know how i can remove the lurking virus's? |

| Spysweeper is garbage. EZAnti Virus is a product I've never heard of. In the system security game, if it's an unknown product, you can't trust it, really, since there's no basis for comparison. My suggestion: http://free.grisoft.com It's a free antivirus product that puts most of the larger commercial products (namely Norton and Macafee) to shame. Updates are free. The software is free. The updates run automatically as long as you're connected. Did I mention that it's FREE? |
