I don't have one, but some friends do. If you just want music I would go with an ipod or alternative, the ipod is smaller, and the videos are more reliable than the zune(new device). If you will be watching video much though, the zune has a much bigger screen, and better battery life. Also, sources inside microsoft have said the second version of the zune is amazing. But a lot could change from now, because Allen is now directing the project.

im thinking of a zune because Ipods suck (opinion..i dont like to go for thee item EVERYONE has)

but i am going to wait till zune is better, because i am assuming it can get better (even in opinion its better than Ipod :P)
but i am also a cheep bastard who doesnt want to buy a new MP3 player since the one i have now is only a year old (its crappy but i feel good having a cheep item, makes me feel different than the spoiled retarded kids who populate my city and all should die!)

I think someone needs to spend more time on how well the stuff works, not if other people have it or the price. (Opinion... I don't like thinking like the people who don't like thinking like other people. )

Yea, I know what you mean. I have an ipod, but there are plenty of other mp3 players that are just as good. I do like my ipod tho, more for whats on it than the device itself.

My iPod is scratched, unreliable, horrible battery life, and everyone else has one.

As much as I dislike Microsoft products, I'm thinking about looking into a Zune as well. I do think that the wireless Zune to Zune sharing thing is a little over-rated, seeing as most of my friends have iPods, and I believe the songs are protected and time out after a couple plays. But otherwise, maybe when a few firmware revisions come out, the Zune could be a potential iPod replacement. It does seem to me that the iPod has fairly limited features, and that other companies realize this, and are adding more recent technology to their players. Why not take advantage of a little friendly corporate competition?
