My friends computer wont recognize the mouse. Its a Gateway with Xp. I tried a USB mouse and the old school kind, niether worked. Tried installing the driver. Didnt help. Tried booting in safe mode, still didnt work. ANy other ideas? I tried calling gateway tech support, and they wanted 59 bucks to troubleshoot (the computers not even two years old). i tried to ask to speak to a supervisor but none were available. Any help?
