Microsoft And The $1,632 Copy Of Vista

Dare I say anybody willing to buy Vista, much less pay for an UPGRADE to useless Vista Ultimate deserves this? I blame the victim here.

I got Ultimate for free and I wouldn't think it's worth it...much less the 1600 plus.

i wouldnt pay that you can do something to fight it with something i forget the word lol.... i got vista home basic on my comp when i got it n i love it paid 400 for everything

He should at least get his money refunded I have vista and some programs are not compatiable with it which is anal at best,when I first read the thread title I thought it was $1632 for one copy of Vista that would be one obscene copy of Vista it might even be different from the cheaper versions.

How funny, some fancy IT guy don't know how to pay a bill on-line. And he's only missing $233, not $1600. Ya only hit the submit button once. Also sounds like he should be talking to his Banker a little more about the deal, might get more done. Idiot.

what are you talking about he's only missing $233- he even posted his online statements of the charges (multiple!) clearning in his bank account. do you not know how this works, or did you ignore the entire bottom half of the article?

you are right about one thing though- he is an idiot for resubmitting his information 7 different times- it doesnt surprise me that this happened to him. Also its no surprise that microsoft isnt doing a damn thing about it. After the first time it immediately failed he should have gotten on the phone with microsoft to verify that his credit card information did not in fact go through. he probably would have had better luck that way.
