| Okay this may seem like a dumb question but...I had a PC and all of my music, pictures, documents are all saved on that computer. I recently got a MacBook and want to transfer everything over. My music alone is about 10GB...I'm not too sure how to go about transferring everything. The only thing I could think of to do was on a Flash Drive but the only ones I have are 2GB, is that the only way or does anyone else know of a better way?

There is absolutely nothing you can do on your PC that I cannot do on my Mac Book Pro. And, even if I was so disposed to avoid putting XP/running Parallels, I could still do 99% of the things on my Mac that you could on your PC. To answer the question posed in the OP; I would suggest setting up a network between the two computers and transferring or accessing the files on your Desktop via the network. This can be done very easily with most Routers, and while it does require some technical knowledge, if you post the System Specifications (mostly, the Operating system of the PC, whether it be XP,XP Pro, Vista with it's many alternates... etc) I can probably either find or write you up a quick guide.

![]() Fucking Microsoft at it again, I understand (somewhat) XP home and Pro, however I have not since I heard about the "6 levels of Vista" heard one reasonable argument for implementing so many complexities other than they want to charge more for what should really be included in the basic package.
