I use both. I've had problems with add-ons and extensions on both, but the problems never overlap so it's nice to be able to switch back and forth between browsers

IE fails to connect to my broadband what so fuckin' ever. I got Vista Home Premium and thought 'kick-ass'! Windows live!

Not so. It fucks up my updates as well and I can't get shit off Microsoft because it requires an IE browser. No contest. FireFox FTW.

for me it was Firefox > Safari. now don't get me wrong, i'm an avid Mac enthusiast and love a lot of Apple software, but one day Safari wasn't letting me load something so i decided to download Firefox, it seemed so much faster than Safari and it became my default browser three days later.

I use firefox. I hate the way the new IE is setup. Plus for some reason, IE seems slower.

a lot of people say this. I think if you're dealing with chronic pop-ups, your problem is malicious software on your computer, not your browser.

i Only recently Switched to FireFox when i got my new Laptop (Black Macbook) and i Love it. Faster, Easier, Less clutter, Better Popup control. I did Try safari and it was sub par compared to Even IE but FireFox rulez, Plus i noticed that mostly anything from MicroSoft is starting to really svck any way( besides maybe the Xbox) and if you wanna argue Ipod VS Zune, and Iphone to even any pocket PC..
