Figured that a thread about Java would be quite the hot topic. If anyone has anything to say about java, java shoutouts, java problems, java ideas, anything java, post it here. I figure that any serious attachments would take up way too much space, so only attach a small method or two, no public constructors or any of that shizzle. Or post the code. I guess I'll start off with a question, does anyone else love java as much as I do?

Wow I took a tiny leave after the disappearence of the entertainment forum and come back and find 1 good thing and 1 bad thing.

The good thing is that the entertainment forum is back! Yay!

The bad thing is that this website is uglier than any word I could use to describe it now, it looks less professional too.

Anyways, I too love Java! However I am not a CS Major, I am just an AP Computer Science student in high school. I am a good one though!

From what I've seen, C++ is pretty powerful. It looks pretty cool, but in the school I was at last year, it wasn't offered as a course, so I had to take Java this year and completely skip C++.

Oh ya, C++ is definetly powerful.

I just meant that Java is more on the cutting edge and thats why it is taught. People still use C even though C++ exists.

Yeah, definitely. Isn't it insane that we have all this computer knowledge in these forums, yet only 2 people are in here discussing a cutting edge computer language. I think I'll make a computer languages thread instead. That way people who only know C/C++/html/Assembly will be able to post.
