Default Virus, Little help

Well, I have a virus, seeing as how I cannot find it well enough to delete it

Does anybody know how I can replace "Temp" and "Temporary Internet Files" after deleting them? I'm not sure how to give I give the new one a System File Value after deleting the original.

If that's no good, how else can I rid myself of it

By the way, The name of it is "Belt.exe" or something like that. Downloader-RL type Virus.

McAfee is no help.

Download the 30 day free trial verison of this... http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/details.html it should remove the trojan for you. AVG would probably clean it too, http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php

I downloaded that about half an hour after I posted this. And just read your message today.

Thanks, I think it may have worked.

If it didn't work, try this. That's what I use, since all the big name virus protection software doesn't work very well, based on my experience.

just incase that didnt work and you know the name of the exe, try a google search for

whatever.exe site:securityresponse.symantec.com

if the name of the exe is common for that virus, you can useally download a tool to remove it rather than downloding a whole anti-virus program (which is probally not a bad idea either)
