|  Question bout SEARCH engines.!@@ How do you take off the previus things you've searched for in search engines? For example you go to a search engine like google and you type "asdf" and search for it, then the next time you want to search for it again you just press "a" and "asdf" appears. How do you take that off if it's even possible. thanks.

| In IE, clearing your history should do it its been a while since I've used IE, but I'm pretty sure that that is all you need to do. Go to tools --> internet options --> click "clear history". Let me know if that worked, also in win 98 you may also need to go into document settings (I'm not sure if thats what it is called, its been a while since I've used 98) on your starti menu and clear that out. In Mozilla (If you don't have it get it  ), you just clear "saved form information" in tools --> options --> privacy tab

| That won't work, I've tried it a long time ago and it only worked for sites you went to and not things you've searched for. Is Mozilla better than IE? I've been using IE ever since ever. Is it better, more stable, faster,? In your opinion what do you think is the best one? |

| Try this Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete... > Uncheck the forms box.
