You need both of them. Spybot catches some things Adaware misses and Adaware catches some things spybot S&D misses.

So If i delete cookies and temporary internet files on a regular basis will that help with minimizing spyware type stuff? I have spy-bot search and destroy and when we used it it said that im operating through someone elses computer i think lol. It said there was a bunch of programs running on "phil collins startup list" and we bought the computer brand new. Also it found a virus on this guys start up list thing and i know its not on my comp because i scanned (with norton and mcafee) and did a search for all the known names of the virus and nothing showed up. We are getting the fuken thing reformated soon so that should help make it work again lol

theDeBaucher(Y): I havent had hardly ANY problems viewing webpages on Firefox, i used to for Opera though, but not alot of them though.
Also, sure you can keep a lookout on what your dling, but the main issue that what makes IE suck is spyware and popups. In order to prevent pop ups in IE you either:
A) turn off javascript (and accept that some sites wont work right)
B) get a independent pop up blocker (note that some of these have spyware on them too)
The best solution IMO is dont use IE at all.

theDeBaucher(Y), thats not really true. At the most you might have very minor viewing problems on a site, usally done by some amature but I really haven't had any viewing problems in several months. Viewing isssues used to be more of a problem but they really just arent anymore.

The fact is is that if someone is developing commerical websites their websites better function 100% on all major browsers, and that doesn't just include the lastest verisons of those browsers you need to support past verisons as well, because alot people don't upgrade like they should. If someone developes a website for a client and it doesnt work 100%, well that is incompetence in my book. There are plenty of tools out their to make sure that websites work correctly on all browsers and past verisons of them as well.
