| Are they really worth it for overall general use and gaming? Also, does RAID 0 (with a pair of Raptors) really increase overall system performance?

| They are really fast hard drives thats for sure, however i think disk stripping with raid 0 is over kill there are no games out there that need hard drives even close to that level of preformance. Disk stripping is badass in certain high performance server enviorments, but as far as gaming goes even the most demanding games that are out aren't going to need that much performance from a hard drive.

| I built a new pc in Jan and put in one of those brand new (at the time) 75GB WD Raptors. Worth every penny imho.
