i'm almost POSITIVE that its impossible to plant a virus in an mp3 file, so unless you're downloading "GTA.EXE" or something sketchy like that you won't get anything

One in ten files on kazaa might be a virus, however kazaa lite filters out the crap that is malicious so you don't really have to worry about it. For instance you select music, and only music files will show up, exe, bats ect wont. Also in the filter settings it automatically excludes files that are named things like avi.exe or things like that.

You won't find music on websites, at least not easily because the RIAA shuts them all down, which is why it’s all on p2p networks. Your best bet for simplicity is kazaa lite or limewire.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Why not save the song to the hard drive", the idea is to save the songs to your hard drive. And no you don't need a program infected with spyware, kazaa lite is spyware free.

Its not .mp3's its files that are deceiving like .mp3.exe, but like i stated above kazaa lite will deal with bad file names like that.

Can I download music without using Kazza light or limeware?
And since music is no longer on the internet ( I looked all over and cant find any sites that have music so I’m assuming that there aren’t any) where is everybody downloading music from? Lol

you pretty much need a kazaa/limewire/ares galaxy/soulseek to get music, or a good friend with your taste and everything you need hehe

I use bearshare. Rarely viruses, and thats only if you are tyring to download popular programs or games. I have downloaded close to 500 songs and have only found 2 fake ozzy songs out of them all. Seems pretty clean to me. It does download a program when you install it though "weather bug" which tells the weather on your task bar. Its really easy to get rid of, or if you like it keep it, but it does add a few pop ups to your computer now and then.

Go with Limewire at limewire dot com. It's just as good as kazaa lite, but better because there are no of those files where halfway through it screeches to try to deter you from downloading. Not one.

i used ares for a while but i found that it slowed down my computer a lot....so now i stick with soul seek
