So yeh I was checking my computer and I came across my Aim logs folder and there are over 100 convos saved.

Which is odd because I never saved a convo on AIM, EVER. And the reason why Im posting this is because every single IM convo that was saved in the AIM logs folder had to do with smoking,drinking or the mentioning of drugs.

Every single saved conversation had to do with me either talking about pot, smoking, meeting someone to smoke, deals and just anything relating to drugs, including jokes about drugs and meeting times when I was going to chill, etc. For me this is scary, I never saved these and I dont know who did....
Does Aim automatically log conversations with these keywords or what?

Why did it just log smoking conversations.

Anyone else experience this?

Check your logs?

no aim does not automatically log any conversations that have to do with key subjects. those had to have been manually logged by someone that uses your computer.

id suggest you take off any aimlogging feature you have turned on, 'cause it looks like someone has been accessing it and saving all the incriminating convos.

that is one of the ways i got busted. i have deam aim and i had it so it logged every convo. mom went on comp. found a convo. car taken away for a week. but whateva! i lock comp now everytime i leave comp. window sign + L does it. i disabled the aim log thing anyways just in case.

Is there even a way to log aim without using third party software? I could of sworn that you couldn't anywho, who else uses your computer? What dir were these logs in? Check all your running processes for somthing out of the ordinary.

he probably downloaded dead aim or middle man or one of those other lite versions of aim. i think a few of those automatically log your convos when you install them, until you turn that feature off.

Yep same thing i was gonna say, dead aim does auto log your convos.

This is kinda off topic but has anyone read aimlogs.com? Its pretty funny. But I think regular AIM records logs, every screen name has its own folder and I just clear them out...its not third party cause no one else uses this comp and its passworded.

Auto logs ALL your convos... not just the ones having to do with drugs, smoking, drinking etc... If those are the only convos that are there, then someone deleted the others and have kept only those for some reason. I would delete them ASAP.
