I too have been using limewire recently...seems to work ok (fast, no bogus files)but I may take Blunted's advice and check out areslite......just out of curiosity, is the program spyware free? I don't want to end up with something like the original kazaa that just bogs my puter down to a crawl....

I used bittorents for awhile, but now I go to regnyouth.blogspot.com and just download the files direct. It helps to have a fast connection, though. Its alot easier, if you ask me.

i think Limewire is ok; but i liked Kazaa more before the whole virus thing. iTunes! but then you have to pay....

I know a lot of people who serv/co-own large IRC Networks so I get distro in a lot of badass places. Not only do I get releases before they're even released on the underground but I also get really nice speeds. 400k and above is about average.

...Not that I download anything illegal of course. That would be wrong
