I have a bunch of music videos I'm trying to burn on a DVD, so that I can watch them in my car. Does anyone know how to do this ?

If you have nero, theres a plug in that will allow you to convert mpgs to DVD, but it takes quite awhile. It literally takes 2 hours or so to convert and burn them ( a DVD's worth) I have a DVD player that will allow you to play Mpgs, Mpegs, Xvids, and Divx to DVD in data mode rather than video, which means I can burn a DVD containing, for example, 2 full seasons of South park in roughly 4 minutes. best 60 bucks I spent since I've acquired a computer with a dvd burner! thanks yaznaki!

Thanks man, I tried using this ****ty aurora mpeg to dvd program or something like that, but it was bunk.

Where can I find one of those DVD players at ? That isn't bad at all for $60, wouldn't mind having one around the house...

I picked mine up at Wal-mart Its a Philips DVP-642/37 and i love it! Coolguy, Yaznaki, and i all own them, and all are pleased with them. It actually has better picture quality (using "normal" dvds...burned ones depend on the integrity of the file burned, of course) than either of my other(more expensive, too, I might add) 2 dvd players when using the componet hookups! Some people, at least according to internet reviews, seem to have problems with Philips elctronics, but I have both this DVD player and a 32 in Tv made by them, and would recommend either of them.

ANYONe who has a DVD burner owes themselves this player. You save money on discs as well, as you can fit 5-6 full length divx/xvid/avi movies on a single disc, and you never have to worry about "losing" them to borrowers, simply becasue they can only be played by these types of DVD players (its a somewhat rare feature currently) or a computer!

I had to have someone hook me up with the plug-in, becasue i had the OEM (factory installed) version of nero, and they wanted something like 20 bucks (each) just for the plug-ins I wanted. I'm not sure if they are included in purchased version or not

I didn't notice any new burn modes in nero. I installed nero from the disc that came with my DVD burner. Would that be an OEM version ? Any ideas ?

Yeah, chances are its the OEM version. I don't think the package you installed will do the trick. I actully used the "real" nero plug-ins. I'd try to hook you up, but after the installation, I think I deleted the zip files i had sent to me. You may be able to find them on one of the file-sharing sites, but I'm not promising anything. If I find what i recieved at home, i'll send them to you. I'm at work now, so I'm not much help.

Tobad my TV died on me, and now I'm stuck just watching everything on my lill pc monitor anywho. Good thing harddrives are cheap, I quit burning now because of it.... running out of room........got nearly 1TB full

(I think I'm 150g short of 1tb actually)
