Anyone have any experience with this brand?

I'm looking at the same 20.1" Gamer monitor from TigerDirect...except I'm not to thrilled about the built in speakers.

There's only one thing holding me back...reviews. REVIEWS!!! That just gave me a good idea. Whenever I need reviews for a tech product, there's usually one place that has all the reviews you could possibly want. Anyone?...

I have a 17" Scepter on my desk.
It's a brand we get from a supplier. No complaints.

I'd never recommend an LCD screen but that's just because my computer is used mainly for gaming. I hate "ghosting" or whatever the term is but not everybody can pick up on it like I can. I'm highly sensitive to refresh rates and that stuff and I notice any subtle change. I've tried playing on LCD monitors but I just can't get used to the ghosting effect.

I agree, for gaming, LCD monitors suck. But as a web surfing/productivity monitor, they're not so horrible.

When LCD monitor's have a response time of 0ms or less

, I'll hook on up on my gaming rig.

Otherwise, STJ, it looks like the Sceptre brand is pretty reliable, so I've ordered one of those for my sister for Christmas and one for me for being such a stoner.

I actually found a ton of reviews. For the most part everyone was happy even most of the gamers said that all you need is a DVI cable and its great. The biggest complaint is that the stand is pretty unstable and the SCEPTRE logo is kind of annoying. This was on the 20.1 wide model. Of course there were a few of the "This thing is a total piece of shit" people. But the positive reviews were overwhelmingly in front.

I have the 37" LCD monitor. its a great tv and games look fantastic on my 360.

oh ya and sceptre's tvs are usually 1080p resolution so it looks badass.

It was waiting for me when I got home from work. I'm using it right now. I've already done some gaming and surfing and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm only using the VGA until I get my DVI cable and if the DVI cable makees it better than this I will be extremely happy. It looks great right now. Even in VGA I didn't notice any ghosting at all and the res. is great.
