| Well I went to see my grandparents for 5 days and came back today and they gave me 280$ to take with me to spend on wtv I wan't and I was looking ad the 6 mega pixel sony cybershot but I was wondering how good is it with close ups and pictures from far away and also in between? It's 200$ here so I can buy it tomorrow if I wan't. I would like to take some nice bud pics and capture the crystals and such and I would also like to take pics from medium range and sometimes a little further range. Thanks ![]() |

| Get the most OPTICAL zoom possible. Digital zoom is garbage. 10x optical zoom or more is ideal.

| As was stated earlier, you'll want a camera with a high optical zoom. Also, try out different cameras in the store, get one with a good macro mode (usually represented by a picture of a flower on the dial.) I bought the exact Sony camera you were talking about for my mother this Christmas, it's a great all around camera. If you want a camera that will be very easy to use, go with an Olympus or a Kodak. I believe Kodak makes a camera with a 10x optical zoom for under $200 (around 6 megapixels, AA batteries), but I dont quite remember. Best Buy usually has a pretty big camera display, so go there, find one you like, then look elsewhere for a cheaper price. Hope that helps, Good Apollo |

| Sony Cybershot's are great, I've owned several and they take great pictures. Take a look... http://tinyurl.com/3yjm96 |
