Hey guys hopefully someone can help me out, I'm trying to open a file I downloaded, and when I click on it, it asks what program I want to open it with. I've tried several, but none of them work. What should I do?

It would help to know what kind of file it is....

You probably need an application installed to handle that type of file.

what does the file end with?

ex: .mp3 .avi etc.

to find out the file extension, (what you need to tell us so we can help) right click, then click on properties. it willl say there

It says it's an EX_file

Ahhh.
Change the extension to .EXE
That's likely the fix.

Dammit, it doesnt't give me an option to change the file type. I downloaded a free trial of WinZip, and unzipped the file, but everytime I try to open it, it just opens the WinZip window again.

Goddammit I hate computers
