I expected you to have a really weird trippy picture, you know the type you can look at for 5 years and it still boggles your mind. | |

| I'm a freak about keeping my computer cleaned up. I absolutely hate a crowded desktop. I refuse to have more than 4 icons at any given time, I hate things in my quick launch bar, and you should see my music folder... Res is 1400x900 (edit: no it's not, it's 1280x800 on the laptop). | I was comparing my deskop to yours, and its almost scary how alike mine is to SpiralArchitects. We have almost the same picture, but the sun in mine isnt that close to the water. We have the same programs, in the same order, even in the same place on the deskop. We have the same number of icons too. I see similarities not only in mine and SpiralArchitecs deskop, but in many others aswell. In the last 2-3 pages of this thread (didn't bother going any further), the majority of the deskop pictures are of nature. Why is that? I don't know anyone else but myself who have pictures of nature on their deskop. My reason for having pictures of nature is that I constantly yearn for being in the wild. My biggest source of motivation is the thought that some day I will take the big step and buy a cabbin far away from civilazation. I walk and camp in the wild whenever I can, but I can't live, read, learn, grow or smoke in the tent over a long period of time, My point and question is; do we who enjoy marijuana from time to time feel a stronger bond to nature than others? And if we do, then why? |
