| ![]() That pic is a bit too much for me! I keep getting drawn back to it, like a magnet, and that puppy REALLY MOVES! I see you got the Vista launcher too! Helps, doesn't it?I finally found one I might hang with for a while. It's dark enough not to bother my eyes...and real pretty! Plus, it lets my icons stand out. It's a "midnight sunset" on a fjord in Norway. I can imagine it's something the vikings mighta seen while they were pillaging and doing their viking stuff! ![]() ![]() Last edited by Feorge Gorman : 03-01-2008 at 02:24 AM. Reason: ocd |

| I have a very cluttered desktop. It's where I keep odds and ends. Anything that I actually need to open on a regular basis, I just remember where it is and open it through the Run dialogue box (Windows Button + "r") a lot of common programs you don't even need to type the path; just type in the process name in the run box and it opens ie winword = microsoft word mspaint = paint calc = calculator winmine = minesweeper on top of that, you can type a path into the run box and it will take you to a windows explorer window of the folder at the path and if you type in a url it will open that page in your default browser. ...I'm a much faster typer than I am a mouse-clicker, so this works well for me. on a side note, here is a funny prank to play on computer illiterate people: take a screenshot of the desktop, with the icons. make that screenshot the new desktop. move around the icons. take another screenshot. repeat steps until the desktop is completely filled with fake icons from the screenshots. optional step: delete all the real icons
