I can pick up this refurbished Commercial link removed LCD monitor for $450. Ad states that brand will vary by store, Commercial link removed but at this price....who cares what brand. Does anyone have such size monitor? Is it good for gaming? -Dark Last edited by Dark : 03-31-2008 at 02:37 AM.

Hmmmm can't really tell. Hopefully it has a DVI port and a good refresh rate. Last edited by Dark : 03-31-2008 at 02:37 AM.

I've been considering this particular monitor myself. Refresh rate isn't a significant point with LCD monitors, since most run around 60-70Hz. Response time is more important, but I used to have one with a 25ms response time and it wasn't too slow for gaming. You'd have to try harder to find one with a slower time. This one has HDMI and a D-Sub port. It's not a bad setup since it comes with a DVI-HDMI cable and a D-Sub-component cable. I think it would be perfect with DVI and HDMI instead of the D-Sub, but it's not bad if you plan to use your computer as a gaming rig AND a movie center, so long as you have HD capability to hook up. Wouldn't want to get this refurbished, though. Last edited by IGemini : 04-01-2008 at 04:41 PM.
