The light fixture you linked doesn't state any real info about the light bulb itself. I would check with them & get the light bulb specs. Look for: "2500-ish Kelvin" or "700-ish PAR" spectrum ranges, work best for vegging.

6500k for growing. 6500k covers the whole of the spectrum cannabis uses for all stages of growth. 2500k is only the reds, best for vegging. :fencers:

i am pretty sure that the blue spectrum is for vegging and the red is for flowering.

People do get really confused when talking about lighting. Since there is no agreed upon measurment of light spectums in place & many people are speaking about diffrent lighting spectums ...

Kelvin: Ranges from 1000 --> 28,000+. 1000 is Red, 28k is Blue. Best Cannabis Kelvin growing spectrum range: 2500k to 6500k (Kelvin)

PAR: is measured in nm (nanometer) & ranges from below 200nm to over 800nm. 200nm is blue & 800nm is red. Best Cannabis PAR growing spectrum range: 450nm to 750nm (PAR)

Lumen, LUX & foot-candle are more directed at lighting power & not so towards Kelvin & PAR spectums.

Cannabis needs both Red & Blue spectrum to grow. Red light promotes more stem growth. Since it is a mother plant being grown, stem growth is ideal for constant cloning.
