So right now she's in jail, or is it prison?

Do you all think it is fair she is going to serve more time then 80% of others, or do you think it's funny because she tried to leave early?

Michelle Rodriguez went to jail, she chose to. Then again she's a lot more hardcore and prolly stronger then Paris Hilton.

So what do you all think?

I HATE how celeberties live above the law...I thought we were all equal, all human beings, but I guess if you have enough money that can be changed.

I haven't kept up with it in detail. I know she's a repeat offender in the car driving/traffic offense area. Is she really getting more time than 80% of offenders with the exact same offense?

The sherriff letting her go home with an ankle bracelet because of her so-called medical condition was BS. I think she should get the same treatment as us ordinary citizens who aren't rich and famous. Unfortunately, our justice system is not perfect and rich people generally get a better break. High priced/high quality attorneys do make a difference, and if daddy is a billionaire there's a good chance he's got influence in high places.

I thought the 45 days were a bit extreme. I think most people that are caught for doing what she did would not receive that long of a sentence. With that said, she did get caught driving on a suspened license twice.

So yeah, I agree 23 days for ignoring the judge sounds about right.

The poll didn't have ti all in there....

I am glad she is there, and it is a shame she isn't going to be there longer. Not due to her offense, but she is a menece to society!

What something special has she done anyway?

It is jail. If you do a year or more it is usually prison. Jail is for those awaiting trial with no bail or can't make bail or serving short sentences basically.

Where did you get the 80%? If she was in Florida she would be doing about 20 days, 10 days for each driving on a DUI suspended license while on probation so I think 23 days are just about right. It should start over though because it is like she got a little holiday after 3 days and they rounded up because she a couple of half days!

Lol we all know why she is famous. She is famous because Americans are facsinated with the extremely wealthy, look at all the "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" and "cribs" and "Super Sweet Sixteen" bullshiot shows.

Hell, watching Paris Hilton's antics could be somewhat related to watching an x-rated version of the Beverly Hillbillies. Think about it......

People like her simply because she is super rich, somewhat good looking (especially compared to the other tranniesque crones that are America's blue-blooded millionaires) and she does outlandish things like make sex tapes, act like a slut, drinks and poses for the camera, etc.

I say we all challenge her to a whore-off. Who's in?

She did get a harsh sentence compared to others that had committed the same crime, in the same area of California.

But damn, it's not like it's a year. Man up and do the time...accept your punishment. Or atleast, that's what I'd do.

I find it hilarious that she was returned to jail after being released for medical reasons  If I was the judge, I would have did the same damn thing.

i can't vote, because i like the fact that she's in jail getting punished for what she has done. she should have been punished correctly after she had a DUI. i also don't want her to get harmed in any way, because what's the point in that? she's still going to be rich and famous after she's been knocked around a little bit. and i don't recall her trying to leave early... most sentences will get cut in half no matter who you are. if you're sentenced to 15 years, you're probably going to get 7 or 8, so that's not the fault of paris. she has even declined to appeal. she's going to serve the original sentence as long as she's on good behavior.

It's really just childish fun that I'd like to hear on the news that she got her ass beat by Big Bertha. Like, "Haha, Paris got her ass whipped! Nah-nah!" :D
