Is this real or fake marijuana?

Hi im new to the forums and never even used a forum before but i think people will see this, i've smoked marijuana a few times before and i remember what the weed i had looked like but i found some weed i had in my wallet in a little baggie i forgot about and its still green but looks weird? anyone know anything about it heres a picture. the problem was it was old as fuck lol, but i just bought some marijuana today from a old friend of mine at school and omg the smell is ridiculous like almost suspicious i have a glass jar i bring with me for when i buy pot at school to put it in untill i get home and the weed is in a little baggie also inside the glass jar and i open the glass jar on my bus every started going whos got the weed and shit and the smell is just so powerful and fruity yet like coffee its hard to explain i have a picture but its horrible i just am very suspicious. 10 bucks for like a gram and its either super crystallized or its sugar all over it. the picture is bad since its with my macbooks webcam lol.
