The United for Care campaign is working to place Medical Marijuana on the 2014 Ballot.

Doctors should have the freedom to recommend marijuana as a treatment for the patients they deem appropriate - including medical marijuana. Marijuana - legal as medicine under state law in 20 states and the District of Columbia - has been shown to be an effective treatment for the symptoms and side effects associated with HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Hepatitis C, PTSD, MS and other neuromuscular disorders, Glaucoma, and chronic pain. The American College of Physicians, American Public Health Association, American Nurses Association, and many other associations and organizations support the availability of medicinal marijuana.

Way to go Florida: United for Care volunteers have cultivated almost 1 million signatures for FL's initiative to legalize medical marijuana. UC has until 2.1.2014 to submit roughly 683,000 valid signatures from registered Florida voters.
