Hi. Ok I will try to be as brief but informational as I can about this. A little about myself: I am 19. About 5'7", 130 lbs. Skinny build. I go to the bathroom regularly and eat a healthy diet for the most part. I only eat red meat when I have an occasional cheeseburger or have bacon/ham for breakfast. I take a multivitamin and b-complex everyday just because. My smoking habits: If and when I have it, I smoke about a blunt every day. (Half in the morning and half at night.) I go through an ounce about 30-40 days. The last time I smoked was a week ago, 2 blunts at a birthday party for a friend. My situation: I got in trouble in October for possession of CBS in a motor vehicle among other things (I got screwed by the man, but my actions were pretty obnoxious too, I got slapped with like 6 charges). I had about 3 grams and a home made pipe on me. This was a real wake up call. I ended up getting a $839 fine, criminal discharge (1st offense), year of modified probation, car towed, criminal record (which can be expunged upon court appearance a year later) I had my last joint after that court hearing which was around the end of October. Probation information: I had my first urine test approximately December 27th. (FYI: To let you know how lenient they were, my test was actually scheduled to be about a week and a half earlier but I called them up as soon as I got the notice in the mail and told them I was going to be in Florida on vacation and my probation lady said it's ok and basically said what day is good for you.) If I was dirty, she explained I'd have to come back to get regular testing and classes yada yada. I did not take any special precautions other than to stop smoking. But, I was clean for the test. Because of this my probation lady said I will not have to come back until July. She had informed me I was on a special type of testing program. Even though statistically it doesn't match up to when I appeared in court and got tested, I loosely remember her saying something like 2-3 months after my sentence and 2-3 months before it ends is when I get tested. I have not been tested since then, but I have been smoking religiously (dumb, I know, but I was not worried at all). I planned on cleaning up and having my last toke on June 1st, my brothers birthday. Assuming I'd get tested in July I was going to start working out eating even better and getting my priorities straight but this was plan was cut short because of a little family situation I have at home. Dyfus is doing a background check on everyone in the household because we are taking custody of my niece. I am to go for fingerprinting tomorrow and I am almost positive they already know by now I had an issue in the past. Anyway, I am just looking for tips and any advice you guys can give me from now until whenever my next test is. I know all I have to do is pass my next test and the law will never bother me again about weed and that will be a great feeling to smoke freely but it is very hard to stop when you smoke as often as I did. I am a very anxious and worried person so pot helped me a lot. Unfortunately, cigarettes have taken its place for now but I have a guilty conscience about them so I'm trying to eradicate that now as well. I do not want to use fake urine. I also bought a few pee strips off ebay for THC for personal relief. You know, I would love to hear "It's ok to seldomly smoke, you seem to have a good metabolism" but I know that the risk is not worth it. I think the hardest part in my situation is not knowing exactly when I am going to be tested or what's going to happen. Anyway, thanks for reading all this. I would love to hear from anyone who knows something about my program or has been in a similar situation. Last edited by el84 : 05-22-2008 at 09:46 PM.

I don't think I would smoke again starting now. It is your life, but you can celebrate your brother's next (not this one) birthday by smoking freely or you can celebrate it while still on probation. The choice is yours. Do you gamble much? Because the stakes you are putting up are quite high for such a small payout.

Yeah, I am not going to gamble. I don't want you guys to get the impression I am a naive teen. To be honest it just helps to talk about it to a community of people who are in somewhat similar situations. I guess I am somewhat of a gambler for smoking on probation, but my testing isn't regular and I don't want to say I'm sure (to jynx myself) of when they will be but my gut is usually right. I would not risk toking anytime soon, which is why I cleaned up in the first place a week ago. Anyway, I think the benefits of detoxing now are much more beneficial in the long run. Gotta get that tolerance readjusted. That few hour high isn't really worth it, especially knowing I'll have to stop soon. I just know that the taste of the herb when I'm done with this testing bullshit will be sweeter than ever. Last edited by el84 : 05-23-2008 at 05:46 PM.
