So I successfully transfered a friend's clean urine to the cup while in the bathroom at a piss test, however, it only filled a quarter of the cup (I was asked to fill to at least halfway). I then pissed in the cup to fill it to halfway. Does anyone know if it will help dilute the sample having the clean piss mixed with my dirty piss?

how "dirty" is "dirty" - like an every day smoker dirty?

Not sure. I quit about a month ago and I was smoking almost every day up until then. I took a few at home tests and failed most of them. My main concern is that it may have gotten diluted enough by the clean urine to pass.

Maybe.... maybe not.

It all depends on how dirty you were. For sure your urine was "diluted" by the clean urine, but if it was enough... only time will tell.
