alright, i've been job seeking for waaay too long and been having the worst of luck when it comes to the UA's... the first time, i bought an expensive ass drink and still ended up failing the test, but i think it was because i smoked the day before... the 2nd time, i bought the quick fix 4.0 and had to take the bus for like an hour early as fuck in the morning to the drug test facility, it was cold as hell that day and the temperature was dropping like crazy... so i stopped at a local 711 and popped it in the microwave to be safe... that bitch ended up busting a hole within 4 secs in their bigass microwave and it spilled everywhere... so that 2nd UA went down the drain as well...

so here i am, ready for number 3!! lol but i thought the best way was to just quit cold turkey, i havent smoked since april 23rd and its now june 3rd... i used to smoke like 4-5 blunts a day so im not sure if it's still in my system or not... i'm 5'6, 148 pounds... the reason im still not sure is because my moms and sister smoke every day and i get whiffs every now and then from them boxing up the house, but i stay in my room... i took the home drug test from walgreens and it said it was negative but the 2nd line was sooo faded that i really dont trust those things... i recently went to an interview with jcpenney a week ago and they said the main supervisor that gives the 2nd interviews is out for 2 weeks, and im positive im going to have 24 hours to do the UA after my 2nd interview, thats how it always is... i bought test PURE from a local smoke shop, it comes with a powder to mix in to make a drink and two pills... i bought this just to make sure i pass this bitch... the advice i need is what else can i do to make sure i dont fail again?? i have about a week and a half until my UA... im not really sure about the dilution method simply because i have a small system and am really scared i'd come back diluted on the UA... any advice on what i should do?? should i stick to drinking lots of water and take the test PURE the day of my UA??

If you haven't smoked since 4/23 there is a good chance that you will piss clean on your own. You could simply buy a home test kit at Wallgreens and test yourself prior to taking the real test. From what I have read at various places it's next to, if not impossible to test positive just from breathing second hand smoke.

If I were in your situation I would get another home test kit and test myself. If you test positive you will then know that you will have to either sub or dilute.

Don't waste your money on "miracle drug test products" from the head shop, they are crap and don't work.

He did already take a home test and passed it. Jayday999, you need to drink a 20 ounce gatorade or powerade in the 1-1/2 hours prior to your drug test.

I didn't know that JC Penney was drug testing. They don't in my location.

Taking test pure can also give a negative dilute result. It did for me when I tried it about 6 months ago. The shitty thing is that it worked for me about 4 years ago when I first had to take a UA. I used the substitution method on my last UA and it worked flawlessly. Pre employment tests aren't usually observed (it costs more to have someone watch). Read N2's thread on substitution, thats where I got my info and I passed with no problems! Here is a link to my thread about it, it has some pics of the container I used. Good luck!

Yep. It cost me $30 to buy it, I returned it and got my money back, went the substitution route and it worked out great!! Realistically he should be fine. Its been over a month since he last smoked and second hand smoke isnt enough to cause him to fail. Just stick with the gatorade, and if he's really paranoid just sub...

thanks for the replies everybody, i love this site for information.... anyways, im dead broke right now to buy another quickfix or any other subbing product... i got a 8 pack of gatorades though... yeah im not sure if theyre drug testing actually, it didnt say that on the application but a lot dont do that but mostly ALL retail stores drug test... i think im going to have my friend call the jcpenney store i'm applying at and act as if hes interested in applying and ask about a UA... sec, you think i should just get rid of the test pure product and just drink the gatorade b4 the test?? i already bought the test pure that comes with the powder and two pills so idk... kinda 2nd guessing it now that vicked said he came out diluted from using it... what u guys think??

It's been a long time since you've smoked dude. Just stick with the gatorade, I know a few people who have come back diluted from test pure. Either that or find someone who hasn't smoked in a longer period of time (and doesnt do the other drugs that test for in a pre emp UA) and use his/her piss...

Sec could explain this a little better, but when you drink water to dilute your urine all to often you dilute it so much that it changes the specific gravity of your urine, which is tested. Gatorade allows you to dilute while not changing the specific gravity of your urine so much that you fail. Theres the cliffs notes version, for a more detailed explanation ask sec!
