|  Niacin advice Ok I took niacin for the 1st time about 2 hrs ago and I only had slight burning and tingles in my cheeks. I took 500mg and it was the time release ones because thats all i could find in the store so i broke the pills open and poured the powder into a cup with water mixed it really quick and drink every bit right away even got the little bit out of the bottom of the cup. So my question is to anyone who has taken it before...if 500mg didn't bother me really at all for my 1st time do you think id be ok doing 1000mg's? |

| Well, if you were trying to get high off of niacin, you are in the wrong website. Niacin is off topic for this forum. If you were hoping niacin would help you pass a drug test, you are also wrong. it doesn't. So.... Why were you taking niacin in the first place? |

| LOL no I wasn't trying to get high. I heard it boosts your metabolism and increases blood flow in your body...so I figured well if thc stores in fat cells maybe if I work out like crazy and also give my metabolism a boost that I could keep flooding the thc into my bloodstream and then drink lots of water to keep flushing out the rush of thc. |

| Niacin is an urban myth. It really doesn't help boost metabolism. It might get your heart racing and dialate your blood vessels (hence the flushed face and skin), it does nothing for your metabolism. |
