old urine

I recieved urine from my friend roughly 48 hours ago. I stupidly did not refrigerate it. I just now took the drug test with it at Quest Diagnostic. They said my pee was in the range of temperature so that was not a problem, but can they tell its old pee???

really?? omg you just made me feel a hundred times better. i'm freaking out. do they really not test for the age of the pee?

No, there is no test that I am aware of that determines the age of pee. If you retain a specimen long enough, it might lose some critical properties, but 48 hours is not long enough to worry about.
