I have a test scheduled for June 30th. Over the the last week (June 9-16), I smoked about half of a gram, then took a small hit last night. I'm skinny at 6'4" 180lbs. What might my chances be, or should I just buy a home test?

If you're an occasional smoker, it should be out of the detectable range within 3-5 days. However, since these are just ranges, buying a home kit and testing yourself is advisable. Use the first void of the day.

I had another question that I forgot to ask...Does it matter if you take a few small hits or one large hit, if the same amount is smoked both times? Will the detection period be the same?

These are all questions that actually deal with the pharmacokinetics for the ingestion of the marijuana. Looking at the terminal half-life of marijuana (which ranges from 0-10 days), you could reasonably assume that there wouldn't be much of a difference from the last smoking episode. However, since every "hit" is different, there is no "definite" answer, and taking an at home drug test is suggested.
