Hi all i'm a newbeiw to this website but i have been actively reading forum posts over the last few weeks. I have a pre-employment medical test in a week's time and I'm suspecting its a EMIT lab based test. Not one of those instant test assays. A bit more on my smoking history :

1)How recently you smoked- last smoked 37 days ago

2)How much you smoked.- 4-5 joints laced with tobacco shared with 4-5 mates

3)How often you smoked. - twice a week4)What quality you smoked. - average

5)Your percentage of body fat.- My BMI index is 23, 20-25 being healthy (so not soo fat )

6)Your metabolic rate.-I'm 22 years old and 170 cms tall. 143 Lbs- so i'm guessing its average.

I have tested myself about 4 times on those home panel assays and dip strip after two weeks of abstaining and regularly from then on and everytime a faint noticeable but very faint pink like appeared. While other drugs had a bold line equally matched with the coloour of the control line has appeared.

It will be 42 days on the day of the test. Should i be worried or call in sick on the day of the test or go for one of the dilution methodS?

You can get by with a 'light dilution'. Just drink about 20 ounces of gatorade 1 and 1/2 hours prior to test time. Then drink 12 ounces of water 1/2 hour prior to test time. You should be able to pass with no problem.

firstly id like to say that i am falling in love with you the more i read on your tips.
and now i'm going to get annoying and ask more questions:

1) should i be taking aspirins?

2) should i be worried about the faintness of the line?

(although i know that you've mentioned in many other posts that a line is a line and its a negative but then someone mention that on immunosary tests the antigens attach themselves to the cannaboid metabolites and this attachment is directly proportional to the the amount of substance in your urine)

could you please verify this opinion?

3) Also i understand that powerade contains vitamin b's, is this sufficient to turn my void yellow enough?

4) does powerade/gatorade contain enough electrolytes to maintain the specific gravity of the specimen?

5) should i concern myself with creatine levels on a mild dilution technique?

Also just as a futher note and emphasis, I have passed all the home tests that I have taken but the line has been very very faint.

PS: it annoys be when people ask for advice and not post their result. I shall let you guys know how i go when i get my results back

You wouldn't be drinking enough to worry about creatiinine or specific gravity levels falling below normal levels. All you want to do in insure that you test negative. you are already testing negative on home tests. By drinking a 20 ounce gatorade, you have added enough liquid to your urine to make sure this happens. You want to be fully hydrated, but not over hydrated (get it? You aren't doing a full blown dilution, so forget the aspirin, tims, all that stuff. Just do what I said and you should be ok.

Although I'm just curious about the theory on the faintness of the line. I was wondering if you could clarify it so other members get a better understanding of it.

You want me to verify something I have said at least a thousand times? why?

A line is a line is a line is passing. Good enough. The immunoassay test is a pass/fail. It isn't a faint, dark, medium curve type of test.

You'll be okay man. I'm not going to say trust me, but 50mg of THC is a REALLY REALLY tiny level of THC, almost negligible, and since you're passing the at home test, you must have even LESS of it in your system. You'll be perfectly fine.

thanks man, i need all the comfort i can get. Only 3 more days to go. But will be 42 days clean. I guess i'm lucky compared to most people who hardly get any notice. I think the whole thing is really unfair when people on coc and meth (true junkies) can get away and people like us get caught behind!

Good luck with your test BB. Make sure you dont get too drunk and smoke again before your test! :P
