First of all, thanks SO much to the mods and members of this site that have given me invaluable information, it definitely helps to set my mind at ease.

A little background: 25 y/o, 5'8" male around 150 lbs, probably a moderate/slightly high metabolism. 1/2oz-3/4oz a month habit (good stuff) nearly every day for a few years.

I got an interview through a family friend with a company not in my home state. Flew up for 2 days of interviews, received a call a couple weeks later asking me if I'd be willing to relocate to their headquarters and accept a job, gave me an offer and a start date which I verbally accepted.

They emailed me an employment application as a formality (HR person was out when I was up there), background/credit check authorization form, and a pre-registration questionnaire for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. I've heard from the HR guy in reference to the forms that there was "no chatter, so we'll see you for orientation."

It will be about 3 1/2 weeks clean on my 1st day, and my question is this: I know I cut it a little close (am very nervous about that) so I want to dilute as best as I can, (have read the dilution thread thoroughly) but I don't know their procedure! I'm to show up at their headquarters (nearby my actual office) for orientation and paperwork. This is a large Insurance/Financial company. Will they test me right there on the spot, or will they likely have me sign forms and send them results from an independent lab test? Might they not test me at all? What are the chances that it won't be a urine test but possibly hair? The ambiguity of the situation is killing me! I don't want to sit through orientation getting up to urinate very frequently if they don't test me right away, etc.

Can anyone provide any insight? I've used the search feature and haven't found this issue addressed, so my apologies beforehand if I missed anything. I can't imagine relocating my entire life (signed a lease for a place that, without this job I cannot afford) only to lose it right away. Thanks so much for any help!

Dude you are just like me same age n everything I quit for 22 days and my home test showed a faint line . Buy a test at walgreens and check yourself thats your best bet. Caause if that goes through you should be good my results come by weds. So i can let you know how I fared but like I said check yourself out and decide from there. PEACE unable out

This is the best advice you can get.

Next, if you go to orientation, and they make you sit there for 2 hours, then decide to spring a urine test on you, here is what I advise if you don't want to sub:

While sitting through orientation/safety meetings, sip coffee the entire time. Take a 20 ounce bottle of Green tea, gatorade, powerade, anything like that, with you, but don't drink it. When they mention that it is time for a urine test, slam that drink. Have another one to sip on the way to the test site. If you feel the first drink hasn't worked it's way through you, tell them you can't pee right now and need time. This gives you time to drink the second one. After about 45 minutes - one hour, you should have enough fluid in you to pass.

Buzz your hair now down to 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Trim your pits to 1/2 inch. Use Nair on your leg and arm hair until it is pretty weak. You don't want to remove it, just make it useless (leave on for 1/2 the time recommended for removal).

That is the best advice I can give you for now. Test yourself with a home test and see if there is anything for you to be worried about first.
