Well I hit the 6 months clean date today. And I thought I was gonna have trouble getting 6 daze. I am telling you, if you are trying to hang in there, you can do it!! I was a big time toker.

And still no gig. Took a PT gig did not have to piss. Tempted to hit one.
Got scared of it and backed off. If I hit some killer I'd prolly be ready for a padded room, LOL.
Going to go on to the 7th month.

way to go, bimini!! i was glad to see someone else was seeing the clock right at 420 more than once in a while!! lol

yep, sad times over here, too. no more 420 for me, it's just not worth it. : (
it's not that i miss it so much, just that i think it's such a ridiculous law.

anyway, thanks for letting me know that it can be done. i've been "clean" for a whole 17 days now. the good news is that i can now pass a home test in the afternoons all by myself now! WOW, that's a milestone, huh?

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeit, don't think I ain't tempted. Weirdest thing is though, I have been dreaming about it almost every night.

In the dream , I get high, can taste it, feel it. The police are almost always involved somehow, either knocking at door or on way to get me. Its' some subconscious paranoia alright.
I have been in the prescence of weed several times since this self-imposed prison began back on Jan. 1st. But it has not been difficult to turn it down.

It was such a big part of my life/existence for so long it's tripping me out. The fact that I have actually pulled this off. I started smoking in 1981. This is longest I've gone with out it since my Freshman year in college. I stopped smoking in Sept. 83-June 84. It was making me paranoid.

Another test, another George Clinton concert comes up around the end of the month. There'll be weed for days.

your dreams sound pretty distressing. i used to have dreams like that about another off topic drug i had finally stopped doing back in the 80's & they stressed me out big time. same as you, could taste it, smell it, the whole deal. i hated those dreams. : (

lucky for me, i'm not even tempted to smoke again these days. don't get me wrong, i miss it, but i gotta get a job!!

guess what, yesterday i glanced at my watch---4:20, AGAIN!!! still happens all the time. INFURIATING!!!! i had to laugh, though. i was at a coffee shop online so i couldn't even tell anyone to share the laugh!

keep up the good work! stay strong at the george clinton concert.....just breathe in really deeply. i don't think that'll get into your system, will it?
